I spent most of my adult life playing in the outdoors and connecting with nature in the mountains of Northern California. It was there that I was introduced to the practices of Yoga, Pilates, and Tai Chi and opened the door to the spiritual part of my life journey.  I aim to continually explore the innate, soul connection between mind and body, and now understand the importance of tuning in rather than just working out.

 

My background as a fitness trainer has given me an appreciation for the importance of a strong core and safe, functional movement, so I chose to obtain my teacher training through the Yogalates™ Academy. This method is designed to awaken and strengthen the deep postural muscles using Pilates based exercises while incorporating the asana (poses), philosophy and wisdom of Yoga. 

 

I have completed a 500 hour Level One and Two certification in teaching the Solomon Yogalates™ Method as well as holding a level 4 Personal Trainer, CHEK Swiss Ball and Holistic Lifestyle Coach certifications.

 

As a busy mum, I understand the challenges of balancing the “doing” with simply “being” so I aim to create a restorative and rejuvenating practice that will encourage you to listen to the wisdom of your own body and nurture your connection between mind, body and spirit.
